When I started my career with I-Mobile we were under a merger with T-Mobile. T-Mobile buying Sprint out we have managed to turn our Location around as it was failing when we started.
The first three months of T-Mobile coming to Zanesville we took the first 3 months and ran with the opportunity. Not knowing that if we had not performed we would be getting transferred to another locations or the doors would have closed.
We hustled and worked so hard that we signed a 2 year lease and turned the location into the Number 1 Store in our Region.
Long hours of learning a new system, new features with the Computers and Tablets made itworth it to sign a 2 year lease when the Company would only typically sign a 1 year contract.
As a RAM with I-Mobile I have gained more knowledge of how to train and manage a team. As the role of being an Assistant Manager my job duties are constantly changing. I am required to train all new employee's. Guide them through their first week of training on the sales floor. Setting Monthly goals and expectations for each Mobile Expert. Managing a team of 5. Keeping them on task daily with sales calls, quotes and hitting their goals. I am a very strong willed person and believe that everyone has the potential to always improve. We handle Planogram changes, pricing changes, returns, buy backs, customer service, cash handling. Ordering supplies, making sure inventory counts are done and completed every Tuesday.
As the Lead Dispatcher of the Heating and Cooling Department I was required to do the following:
- Create Residential and Commercial Services for Technicians
- Dispatch them daily to their scheduled calls
- Send and Order parts for service calls
- File Warranties
- Customer Service
- Cash Handling
- Ordering Filters
- Managing a daily Calendar board to Dispatch Techs to Service calls
- Working with 10 plus Techs
- Managing the service department orders
- Maintaining yearly Maintenance contracts with larger Commercial Accounts
This job consisted of a lot of Multi-Tasking and at times dealing with frustrated customers, a lot of new learning curves and experiences but with this opportunity i gained a new Assistant Management position by leading the service department.
I am a very determined person. Anything that life throws at me, I remember that I am here to help others get plans at cheap and affordable prices. It's not about what goes into my pocket, it's about helping customers get what they want.
I am strong willed and when I am given a task I am the first to get it completed. I am motivated for more. I have 2 independent business that I run from home as well as going back to school for myself and my family. As I may be hard on my employee's tough lough and constructive criticism goes a long way!
