I have 7 years as a registered nurse, with excellent communication skills, and a strong personality, and am seeking a staff nurse II position in the surgical Intensive care unit.
I am ACLS certified from 2010 to present.

Manage patients requiring cpap, bipap, ventilator, trach care calculation and titration of critical drips, wound vacs, jp drains, chest tubes, arterial lines, cvp monitoring, assist with bedside dialysis, perform blood transfusions, labs and arterial blood gases,
Serve as a float nurse by assisting with transfers to other parts of the hospital, I assist with bedside procedures, and assist the charge nurse and pod nurses with anything that needs to be done.
Charge nurse prepared on the unit.
I helped facilitate the movement of patients throughout the division and help facilitate the transfers form the ed to the floors. I helped with movement of the patients to help create beds in the time of need and also helped with the proper placement of the patients to help with the mis use of beds.
Performed peritoneal dialysis at the bedside, managed the care of 1:6 ratio as a bedside nurse and was charge nurse prepared and helped manage the unit. Helped with precepting new nurses and externs, from local universities and colleges.
I started out as a LPN on unit 2 which was a trach vent hospice unit, I manged 32 patients, then once I received my RN I was asked to become the house supervisor from 3-11, I rounded with all the physicians, took off orders, performed all IV infusions, provided support to the nursing staff and families, completed all transfers to the hospital and all the admissions tot he facility during my shift.
I graduated from COTC also in 2004 as an LPN and went on to receive my RN in 2006 all at the same school.
