avid reader, propetual learner, sewing, hiking, kayaking, serving others

I am an avid reader. I love to learn about all subjects and find that education is one of the best tools you can possess. I am really glad that I have learned how to sew and that I can use my skills to serve other people. I volunteered my time to sew masks for medical use in the Spring of 2020 for the service company called Just Serve. I am the type of person that can be found in nature no matter what time of year that it is. My family and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and camping as often as we can. This is one way we have found that we can 'recharge our batteries' if you will. Another way that I have found that makes a difficult day better is serving other people. I am always trying to be in the service of my fellow man. It may be as simple as reaching a heavy object off the grocery store shelf for a physically challenged person, or helping someone that needs a ride or a listening ear.

Additional Information

I am a person that always strives to be happy. I do my best to always have a smile on my face. I am a very friendly person that works very hard at being what my patient needs me to be. I can be a listening ear, an advocate, a educator, a friend and a nurse. I take pride in giving my patients the kind of care that I would want for my family. Because of the care I have delivered to my patients, I have made some life-long friends.
