Professional Summary

Dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with progressive career history in direct patient care, triage and care coordination in fast-paced environment. Proven to remain calm under pressure and skillfully handle difficult patients and high-stress situations. Consistently developing strong relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication, respectful attitude and excellent customer service.

Worked in the hospital and a well established OB-GYN office as a Licensed Practical Nurse for approximately 15 years before getting my Associated Registered Nurse degree.

Worked in a Outpatient Medical department as a LPN and RN doing and assisting physicians with multiple procedures. I worked approximately 18 years in the Endoscopy Department where I started multiple peripheral IV's, accessed Central Ports, assisted with multiple endoscopic procedures.

The last 6 years I worked in a off campus setting with mainly cancer patients. In this department I started IV's, accessed Central Ports, PICC lines, gave multiple injects (vaccines, flu, pneumonia, Vitamin B12). Performed Therapeutic Phlebotomy, blood transfusion, antibiotic therapy, iron infusions and IGG therapy.

I am recently retired as of February, 2022 after a 40 year career in nursing that I enjoyed very much.
