Provide quality nursing care in accordance with resident care policies and procedures. Sound, ethical and independent decision-making ability consistent with medical/facility protocols. Disciplined, energetic employee who quickly establishes rapport with patients and colleagues.
Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight and height. Accurately record patients' medical history, vital statistics and test results in medical records. Document all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications, discharge instructions and follow-up care. Maintain patient charts and confidential records.
Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment and maintain patient flow. Utilize strong assessment skills to determine necessary patient care including emergency response. Assess and diagnose minor health issues, otherwise contact facility physician. Administer medications, including vaccinations. Retrieve labs such as urinalysis, cholesterol, hemoglobin, glucose. Administer PPD test. Test glucose and administer injections.
Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits. Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs. Organize and participate in recreational activities.
Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors in pleasing and courteous manner. Responsible for checking in patients, registration of patients and processing of patient records. Handle responsibilities of entering patient demographics in the computer. Perform the tasks of preparing patients charts and update the same to the concern physician. Handle responsibilities of responding calls and providing information on the various services of the health organization. Maintained patient flow. Applied electrical muscle stimulation therapy to patients. Responsible for checking patients out, collecting co-payment, making follow-up appointments and entering charges in the computer. Responsible for maintaining the reception area in a neat and clean manner
Courteously greet customers and efficiently process transactions within busy, fast-paced retail environments. Operate cash register, scanners and computers to itemize and total customer purchases; collect payments and make change for cash transactions; and balance drawer at the end of each shift. Assist with store stocking, floor-sets and opening/closing procedures.
