  • Develop and maintain Power Point education materials, including statistical data, for a given audience - potential patients, postoperative patients and clinical staff.
  • Present potential LVAD recipient's objective and subjective data to the LVAD team at selection committee - includes heart failure physicians, heart failure nurse practitioners, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologist, pharmacists, infection disease physicians, psychologists, dieticians, social workers, financial coordinators and other LVAD coordinators.
  • Work with the physician and LVAD team in caring for LVAD patients to ensure that optimum care is given in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
