I traveled to numerous Skilled Nursing Facilities. I gave direct patient care and I also was the supervisor of the facility at times. I performed most of the skills as previously mentioned during my current position at AVH. I would be the primary nurse for as many patients as 28 at one time for an 8 hour shift. During this job. I would care for patients on ventilators, tube feedings, colostomy care and end of life, just to name a few.
I was employed in the out patient oncology department for Dr.Edward Malloy. The job consisted of : secreterial work, calling patients with lab results, scheduling patient appointments, performing VS on patients.
My duties included assisting with procedures such as vasectomies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, suturing and suture removals, skin biopsies, physicals, VS, well and sick visits. I would perform basic office duties including follow-up phone calls and scheduling appoitments.
