• Assist in the daily tracing of cars using the Bourque Logistics system each morning, reviewing certain loops, cars, etc., as assigned
• Monitor last contents of cars and become familiar with restrictions on where certain last content cars can and cannot go based on supplier and customer requirements
• Review the trace daily for cars not moving and putting in problem logs with railroads, as needed, and updated ETA’s per the railroads’ systems
• Move cars within Bourque to get cars into the proper pool/loops for tracking and reporting purposes
• Monitor and track fees associated with the fleet, including, empty miles, first move (non-revenue moves) costs, switch fees, and demurrage
• Track and coordinate the billing of all subleased railcar activity with counter parties, working with Accounts Receivable to bill and collect lease revenue
• Assist with the management of the Company’s railcar leases, by rider, and keeping up to date total cars under lease by lessor, car type, expiration date, and lease start date
• Enter all railcar lease charges into SRA monthly and work with Accounts Payable to ensure all leases get paid timely
• Assist with the coordination of car testing schedules for HM-201 testing, as well as become familiar with shops used to shop bad ordered cars
• Build solid working relationships with all railcar lessors and work with them to handle bad orders, including coordinating shop space, questioning necessary repairs, if needed, and review and approval shop invoices
• Build a working knowledge of FRA regulations and requirements, becoming certified to move hazardous materials via rail and getting authorizations to move bad ordered cars
• Review 3rd party detention invoices for reasonableness, and bill to correct customer, if possible
• Worked constantly with liquid components and applying analysis
• Helped build and maintain crude/LACT meters and balance
• Work closely with upstream and downstream business groups in resolving balancing and measurement data issues.
• Perform the daily maintenance and analysis of physical measurement balances associated with company pipeline assets.
• Review Meter and Gas Chromatograph Test reports and make historical volumetric edits when it is deemed necessary.
• Track and analyze line inventory changes on company pipelines.
• Utilizing spreadsheets as necessary to refine analysis.
• Establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with customers.
• Provide timely response to volume inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Routinely work with team members to develop written documentation for new and/or revised department procedures and processes.
• Processing daily BOLs by comparing receipts and deliveries from prior day
• Working with Marketing to set up daily tank volumes and transit rails
• Making edits to rail cars and truck loads daily so Marketing and Accounting could tie out
• Manual edits to individual BOLs for carrier/contract/shipper changes
• Ensure that balance reports and information accurately reflect the physical gas and oil going into and out of company assets.
• Work closely with upstream and downstream business groups in resolving balancing and measurement data issues.
• Perform the daily maintenance and analysis of physical measurement balances associated with company pipeline assets.
