As an applicant who has taken considerable interest, I'd first like to thank you for not only taking the time out to review my resume, but I also am grateful for the opportunity to be considered for the listed position.

When an opportunity to achieve a higher goal presents itself, I will take efforts to reach the summit of my potential with persistence. Being familiar with environments at different paces, I can function collectively in a calm, or rapid functioning, busy facility. I take my job seriously and gear my work attitude toward illustrating integrity, ethics, logic, and morality.
Currently, I am a QAT in the SNM division with a diverse array of skills to bring to the table. I have earned a qualification in Microfocus. I've knowledge in other processes including CMM, Tets, and Dye Penetrant as well. Previously, I've experienced and studied multiple crafts and modalities of the radiography field which includes the C- arm, fluoroscopy, routine radiography and limited CT. I have excellent interpersonal communication and patient care skills, and I listen to each concern of every person during the performance of examinations.
I have good attendance, I am dedicated to my work, and always eager to assist with tasks whether it is related to my field or otherwise. Achievements include: being named the Neal Unit employee of the month in August of 2009, recognition for employee of the pillar, employee of the quarter, and also employee of the year for 2012!
With over 10 years of professional experience combined (held in special nuclear material and both large and small medical clinical settings), I understand the primary objective in any facility handling radiation is to operate under the regulations of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) in order to manage minimal, safe dosages. Taking time to ensure proper protection measures are taken for myself, and those around me is of the utmost importance for licensed personnel designated to manage such equipment.
I have a working knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining safe dosages, along with the required calculations and physics behind radiation which involves critical thinking and reasoning. That's not where it stops, however. I am pretty savvy with tools and related equipment and computers (especially Mac's) and I have limited experience with excel spreadsheets and powerpoint.
My knowledge composed of being a meticulous Quality Assurance Technician successful at evaluating components and finish products for adherence to tolerances. Highly effective at managing reporting requirements and solving problems in various environments.
Conducting Item inspection for criteria of products aligning to strict engineering standards.
Acknowledged as employee of the month, employee of the quarter, and employee of the year at Texas Tech (Neal Unit).
