Hand picked to revamp struggling QA program within deployed region. Initiated 5 programs, corrected standardization system, and streamlined information/communication between leadership and various bases across 3 countries. Advised/trained 147 Afghan Air Force(AAF) maintenance personnel on Mi-17. Mi-35, Bell 212, AS 332, and MD-530 helicopters. Assisted in the sustainment arena including aviation maintenance, supply, munitions, ground safety, life support, personal survival, and air base defense.
Led inventory of 43 Mi-17s and 102 connexes of associated equipment, totaling $570M across 4 Afghan babes. Conducted transfer meeting and personally signed over all assets to Minister of Defense for AAF.
Coordinated installation of Afghan National Tracker system($20M contract), enabled oversight of 28 aircraft valued at $532M.
C-17A Communication/Navigation/Counter Measures Systems Craftsman and Lead TechnicianDec 2009 to May 2014 United States Air Force － Joint Base Charleston, SC
Responsible for supervision, instruction, and training of Avionics technicians in the complete removal installations, maintenance, repair, heavy troubleshooting and military documentation of avionics on military C-17 aircraft.
Supported Northrop Grumman with Dynamic Re-tasking Capability(DRC) modification. Validated guidance and instructions, identified and fixed 217 procedural errors.
Managed $12M Combat Track II account as shop deployed shop lead; coordinated 83 installations/removals. Capabilities aided in securing the unit and Outstanding Unit Award for the year.
Conducted familiarization training of 8 Indian Air Force avionics personnel. Training consisted of 176 tasks on 22 systems preparing them to maintain their own C-17A aircraft.
