  • As a QA in-process inspector, I'm responsible for auditing products quality and inspecting the manufacturing equipment and processing rooms for "Good Manufacturing Practices and Cleanliness".
  • During equipment start-up of a batch and throughout compression and encapsulation, as the QA inspector, I'm responsible for collecting samples and performing testing per USP (United States Parmacopeia) standards.
  • Testing including the inspection of tablets and capsules for weight variation, hardness, thickness, friability, disintegration and visual defects.
  • As a QA inspector, approval continues to manufacturing of a batch, based upon QA testing results from the initial start-up sample.
  • As a QA inspector, I'm responsible for submitting composite samples to the Quality Control (QC) laboratory for analytical testing of the core tablets or 2-piece filled capsules.
  • The majority of IVC compressed tablets require coating, as QA inspector, I'm responsible for performing AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) on the coated tablets to ensure the product meets specification for various parameters, including cosmetic defects such as (color, breakage, peeling, etc.).
