Managed the entire medical departments budget including but not limited to nursing, physician's contracts and salaries, administrative assistance, medical/ therapeutic supplies. Coordinated with vendors to provide service such as pharmacy, phlebotomy services, to hazardous waste. As well as brought other volunteer organizations to provide services such as lenscrafters for vision screenings, children's hospital to provided hearing evaluations, as well as had the health department to assist in getting client's vaccinated on site.

Psychiatric Nurse case manager: Managed the med/som clinic for out-patient clients by completing individualized care plans, providing case management services by making referrals to appropriate community resources, facilitating level of care changes based on the client's current functioning . Completed Ohio scales, facilitated prior authorization through managed care entities for prescriptions and utilized Central pharmacy resources as appropriate.

Psychiatric Nurse: Provided direct hands on care administering medication, admitting, discharging, transferring, as well as assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment standards to achieve the best possible outcome upon discharge.

I spent these five years working in the psychiatric intensive care unit, the adult psychiatric unit and the geriatric psychiatric unit. Providing hands on care to address physical and mental health conditions, preventing them from harming themselves and others. Facilitated group therapy for inpatient and out patient clients. As well as chemically dependent client receiving in-patient treatment for detoxification. Provided nursing care for client recovering after electroconvulsive therapy.
