Accomplishments
  • 12.5 Million, 850 Days Federal funded Plan Quantities (PQ) road widening Project: Currently serving as Project Oversight managing the Inspection staff, the office Technicians, and the Final Estimate staff, coordinating work activities with Contractor, Engineer Of Record (EOR), QC labs (earthwork, concrete, asphalt, etc.), Utility Agency Owners (UAO), local agencies (City and County), and property owners. The project consist of rebuilding the existing four (4) lane road and adding two (2) more lanes, construct new drainage system. relocate utilities, install new traffic signals, etc.
  • $3.5 Million, 300 Days Federal funded Design Build (DB) Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) project: served as a Project Manager (PM) managing the Construction of sixteen (16) Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), along with their foundations and overhead structures, on three major Interstates on Central Florida (I-4, I-95, and SR-528 expressway). The overhead structures included eleven (11) cantilever structures, one (1) half truss, and two (2) full trusses of 230 ft span. The project involved a complex Traffic control plan with nighttime multiple lane closures and detours, along with extensive coordination with various local agencies. The Project was completed successfully within budget and time.
  • $7 Million, 300 Days Federal funded Lump Sum (LS) mill and resurface project: served as a Project Oversight overseeing the milling and resurfacing active nineteen (19) miles of high speed (60 MPH) rural route that connects the Florida east cost to the west cost, along with drainage, signing and pavement marking, and signalization improvement. The project was completed twenty eight (28) days earlier and $65,000 under budget.
  • $2.7 Million, 300 Days State funded Plan Quantities (PQ) Drainage improvement Duration: served as a Project Oversight overseeing the cleaning, sealing, lining, replacing round and elliptical pipe culverts (CMP and RCP) of sizes varying from 12 inches to 78 inches, within the Orlando city limit. The project involved Maintenance Of Traffic (MOT) within the construction zones and extensive coordination with the local agencies and business and property owners.
  • $3 Million, 100 Days State funded Construction and 365 day Establishment period (LS) Landscape project: served as a Project Administrator (PA) overseeing the installation of over 5000 small and large plants including large grade A Fancy palm trees in and around the interstate off and on-ramps on I-4 at the expressway SR-417, SR-528, and US-192. The project was completed within budget and time.

  • Manages medium to large DOT Maintenance, Construction, and Consultant projects such as mill and resurface, drainage installation and improvement, signalization and ITS, Concrete and earthwork, roadway and bridge construction.
