Set up and performed hand and automatic assembly operations on components, sub-assemblies and assemblies in Toyota's Powertrain shop. I specifically worked on front axle assemblies also in axle component machining and rear axle assembly.
Developed standardized work for processes,
prepared documentation Torque/QC charts and graphs, work combo charts, job assignment schedules, shift-to-shift logs
coordinate with other shops, update inventory information, T/M health info, restocking for next shift.
Responsible for educating fellow team members in the problem solving process. I developed meeting agendas, assigned roles for circle members, coordinated meetings and maintained lines of communication with management. I recognized areas of improvement and assigned members of my team to investigate issues then proposed process improvements to increase quality and efficiency for my section.
