I would like to introduce myself, my name is Trish. I am a mother of two sons. I have been a dedicated caregiver both personally and professionally most of my life.
I am currently employed by Goodwill Industries New York, New Jersey Division, for nearly four years. I've mainly worked on the sales floor where I not only help customers, I also keep the donations of products stocked on the store shelves. Since working here I learned skills working as a team player. Last December I was offered a promotion to third key manager, which I accepted. I now have the store and my co-workers as my responsibility, I observe others and what their strengths are, putting them in the best positions to keep the store running.
Previously I was employed by a local car dealership as a front desk receptionist/cashier. I enjoyed working in the automotive industries. I felt both the customers and my co- workers enjoyed my effervescent personality.
Before this I was a stay at home mom, for 17 years, where I took the opportunity to do daycare out of my home. During this time I would take on part-time or night-time jobs of various kinds. I am now searching for a full time daytime position, where I can utilize all of my skills; clerical, customer service and labor in a professional atmosphere.
If given the opportunity I feel I could be a real asset to your company.
