  • Project Management Duties Supervise and train 84 personnel in aspects of Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM); manage maintenance armament specialties.
  • Coordinate and manage unit logistics support for repair parts and ground support equipment to optimize and streamline aviation maintenance and aircraft down-time.
  • Perform risk assessments and analyses for all Forward Arming and Refueling Points to ensure the safety of all operations.
  • Successes Supervised daily operations of five sections with 15 different jobs; provided oversight of standardization and performance of AVUM and limited DEPOT repairs on assigned aircraft with combined values of up to $160M.
  • Streamlined processes by establishing a more efficient system of repair, inspection, and restocking over 1620 lines of aircraft parts into an organized system saving the Army $1.9M.

  • Served as the Allied Shops Platoon Leader planned and scheduled work of 67 personnel in a weekly, monthly, or longer basis to insure a smooth and efficient operation and to meet deadlines of 7 AH-64D, 8 UH-60L, 8 CH-47D, and 8 OH-58D helicopters.
  • Daily duties included the management of all aspects of aviation maintenance including hydraulics, powertrain, powerplant, and airframe soldiers ensuring workflow timelines are met.
  • Prioritize workload, man-power utilization and train soldiers on maintenance methods, procedures and best practices.
  • Project Management Duties Synchronize maintenance, repair shops, and facilities that maintain and repair 31 aircraft with 67 aircraft mechanics assigned to the organization and meeting all maintenance projected timelines.
  • Establish and maintain communications with top management, including production, engineering, and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure understanding exists for acceptable quality evidence for performance of such things as purchased materials, and vendor shipment.
  • Coordinate and manage unit logistics support for repair parts and ground support equipment to optimize and streamline aviation maintenance and aircraft down-time.
  • Successes Streamlined processes by establishing a more efficient system of repair, inspection, and restocking over 1620 lines of aircraft parts into an organized system saving the Army $1.9M.

  • Successes Executed a $56M budget by managing the home station, flying hour, flying hour maintenance, and deployed budgets maintaining within 10% of the planned expenditures.
  • Procured 6.5M to fund the construction of modular buildings, increased parking, furniture requests; worked directly with the Master Planning Office to construct and support the expanding Brigade.
  • Recouped over $40K back to the government in lost property and received accolades from the 10th Mountain Division Deputy Commanding General.
