In this position I was in charge of the administration of the Specialty Training Programs for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The specialty training programs which involved the teaching to staff the areas of training which would allow the trainees involved to return to their institutions and train other staff in the areas of Self Defense, Firearms, Escort Procedures and Disturbance Control. This place was also the training location for officers to learn the aspects of Bus Operations for inmate transportation from Institution to Institution.
Staff who were involved in this type of training were held to a strict standard. Staff who did fail to meet the minimum benchmark would have to be returned to their location without the proper certification.

Created Training programs for entry level staff as well as seasoned staff.
