I have worked at two food-industry businesses as a full-time student in high school. As a junior in high school, I enlisted in the Army and began to pursue my lifetime goal of simultaneously being a successful Army Infantry Soldier and a college graduate. I am also a hobby bodybuilder and powerlifter with a strict goal-oriented attitude and lifestyle. I am a high school graduate as of May 2014.
I was able to stand out from a crowd of sixty soldier trainees and be promoted from PVT E1 to PFC E3, as well as taking the role of the Student First Sergeant Leader of all sixty soldiers. I have shown that success comes from determination and correct mindset.
Successfully pleased many customers by making them feel welcomed and conversing. I made the work environment less stressful by working together with employees and taking leadership in difficult situations.
I was able to efficiently minimize waiting time for customers' food by multitasking and putting the customer before anything else. Other employees looked to me in times of struggle because of my calm, yet effective skills of executing duties.
I graduated in May 2014 with a GPA of 3.6 and was awarded 7 semester honor roll. My military and goal-driven attitude allowed me to succeed academically in high school and also allowed me to be accepted into Illinois State University.
