To introduce myself I am a friendly and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and After School counselor with 5 years in early childhood education along with Elementary Education. I feel purposeful shaping the future of young minds along by crafting a well integrated curriculum based on expert research that I use to implement an emergent, inquiry-based approach to learning. I feel a strong sense of accomplishment from helping children develop social, academic and creative abilities that foster well-being and progress. Throughout my career I have become well-versed in developmental milestones and activities that promote curiosity and engagement. Through a creative and energetic professional approach devoted to offering diverse activity plans and experiential learning opportunities I have had the pleasure of enhancing individual development in my students. The bulk of which I offer is a friendly, supportive and motivational desire to promote students maximum potential backed by years of experience with a passion for building strong rapport with fellow faculty, students and caregivers along building an inclusive and respectful community among which we all share and are a part of. I currently am attending Texas Tech Majoring in Sociology and minoring in Family Life Studies, and wanting to branch put into different fields of work.

I am a former volunteer at the Bright Space Humanitarian Respite Center where I assisted families with hygiene supplies, books, and taught the children that were seeking asylum from Mexico.
