Received Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from Captain G.M. Boardman, U.S. Navy Commanding Officer of USS WASP on November 11th 2012 for performing my duties as Hangar Bay Aircraft Handler on USS WASP (LHD-1) from 22 October 2012 to 11 November 2012. I directly contributed to the mishap-free execution of 22 Hangar Bay aircraft moves, 107 elevator evolutions, and 727 Aircraft launch and recoveries during 296 Flight hours in direct support of Hurricane sandy relief efforts. I eagerly augmented a critically undermanned Flight Deck crew and crash and salvage team allowing continuous Flight Deck operations while maintaining 100% mission readiness.
I advanced from Airmen to Petty Officer 3rd class and received new duties. I was in charge of a small team of 4-6 Airmen. Completed 75% of the preservation projects to get the USS Wasp ready for deployments. I received Tractor King (TK) position and is responsible to insure my airmen are qualified in tractors, Aerial platform (JLG), spotting dollies, and P-25 (shipboard firefighting truck). I also direct aircrafts, while still performing previous duties when I was an airmen.
My duties as an Airmen Aviation Boatswain Mate Handler, I performed many aircraft movements, assisted in aircraft and shipboard fire fighting, and was qualified in ship Material M? Maintenance (3M).
I went through Physical Training, Educational Training. I was given the Leadership Position of Section Leader. My duties were to make sure all instructions and rules were enforced. I Graduated January 6th 2011
I performed my duties as a cashier, and also assisted in customer service, and to also keep the sanitation standards of the company.
I excelled as a Cashier, assisted in Customer Service, and kept the sanitation standards.
Serving as the Salons Receptionist, I maintained schedules answered telephones and ran the shops errands. I also performed the duties of an entry level Shampoo Tech, and maintained sanitation standards.
Assisted in the renovation of apartment homes and the rehabilitation of small Communities. Duties Performed included landscaping, sanitation, painting,and was placed in charge of the business advertisement.
I entered Recruit Training ( Boot Camp) November 4th 2010 where I went through rigorous physical training, and educational learning on Naval History. I was promoted to Section Leader of my division, to insure that everyone in my division followed the compartment rules, and standards.
Attended "A" school after Recruit Training to learn my job as an ABH. I was the second person in my class to have a high test score. I graduated and received a certificate of completion for the prescribed course of study at the Aviation Boatswain's mate handler course, Class A1 on 18Mar2011.
I was a member of the Drama Club, Mu Alpha Theta and played Tennis while maintaining a GPA above 3.4.
I was also a member of the National Honor Society 18 April 2008
