Contributed to the successful IP stack upgrade of Extreme's high end modular routers.
Integrated 4 of Extreme's high-end routers into existing test network to create 20 node, multi-tiered network designed to simultaneously test MPLS/LDP, IPv4/IPv6 L3VPN, BGP/BGP+ for system verification, resiliency and interoperability.
Designed, constructed and performed all testing on 2 interconnected test networks, with 2 different stored configurations for each.
Scripts were used to reconfigure systems dynamically and at will thus reducing resources necessary to perform required testing.

Senior Software Quality Assurance EngineerENTERASYS NETWORKS － Andover, MA
Member of three different teams over 10 years contributing to the successful release of two product lines, Matrix X Series and S-series and the successful updating and improvement of the Xpedition line of switch-routers.
Designed and implemented Enterasys' first MPLS L3VPN test network.
Solution was successfully installed by large African nation to provide government's VPN services.
Tested Enterasys' first internet-ready BGP/BGP+ router capable of handling multiple copies of internet routing table simultaneously.
Designed, implemented and maintained 2 separate test networks.
One focused on BGP testing and 2nd on a large L3VPN implementation, included MPLS/LDP, BGP and IGP protocols.
Testing was often performed on 2 test beds concurrently.
Maintained live BGP internet connection and performed route loading performance and capacity testing of complete internet route table.
Executed extensive test plans consisting of system tests, functional testing, scalability testing, route loading performance, platform-specific tests, conformance, and event testing.
Documented product defects and worked closely with developer, troubleshooting and isolating problems, reducing network complexity when necessary.
Utilized Ixia and Spirent suite of network test products, emulating routers and passing deterministic traffic throughout test network.
Also utilized virtual machines, simulating PC/Linux host.
Tested/maintained/administered system test networks of up to 50 nodes.
Served as part of 4-person team, representing Enterasys at INTEROPNET, responsible for successfully building, testing, implementing and administering largest temporary network in the world for 2010 Interop Network Trade Shows in Las Vegas and New York.

Senior Quality Assurance EngineerRIVERSTONE NETWORKS Cabletron Systems － Portsmouth, NH
Tested IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) and Multiprotocol Label Switching (LDP, RSVP) on entire Portsmouth-developed WAN and SONET product families.
Designed, implemented and maintained 10-router WAN regression test network.
Simultaneously tested WAN hardware routing and switching protocols.
Designed, implemented and automated DS3 capacity test network, satisfying requirements of $4M / quarter customer and eliminated network problems.
Led effort to test new rate shaping technology on WAN products, developed and updated test plans and performed all testing.
