  • I currently work in all Pediatric/Neonatal areas. This includes the Pediatric General Floor, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Children's Emergency Department, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. My duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
  • Administering oxygen and aerosol therapy, CPT, and nasal and oral suctioning on the Pediatric General floor and Children's Emergency Department.
  • In Intensive Care Units I work together with physicians and nurses to manage critically ill patients. This includes mechanical ventilation, both conventional and high frequency, non-invasive ventilation, bubble CPAP, and Nitric Oxide therapy.
  • Heliox and Continuous Aerosol Therapy in PICU and Children's ED.
  • Respond to Pediatric Traumas, Code Blues, and Rapid Responses. Also, attend all high risk deliveries and C-Sections.
  • Perform arterial punctures, capillary punctures, and intubations.
  • Educating patients and families on the use of home medications and disease processes before discharge.
  • Attend moderate sedations and surgeries.
  • Precept students and new employees.
  • Assisting in adult respiratory care on General floors, Intensive care areas, and Adult Emergency Department when needed.

  • I lived in Thailand for approximately two years to serve and minister to the people of Thailand as a Journeyman for the International Mission Board.The following describes my time during those two years.
  • Studied language and culture in Bangkok for about a year and then moved to a smaller city for the remainder of my time.
  • Taught English at high schools in near by villages.We assisted local churches in their ministry and outreach.
  • Travel in and out of country was routine to maintain my visa and provided an excellent learning opportunity for organization and time management.
