Professional Summary

The perfect occupation for me is one where I am able to learn, have new tasks and perform hands on work daily. I thrive in situations where I am held responsible for others and my own tasks. Coming from a hard working family, it was emphasized to me that motivation, consistency and work ethic are extremely important in having an occupation. All of those skills I have harnessed and use daily in my everyday life. I enjoy being depended on by my peers and supervisors. Once I am told to perform a task I do so with undivided attention, efficiency and perfection. I strive to be the best at everything I do; this drive is a product of my competitive nature. I am experienced in multiple different areas ranging from paperwork to hands on dirty work, neither of which I have an issue with. I accept and excell at whatever is thrown at me.

Professional Experience
09/2020 to 12/2020 Parts Puller Lkq Corp | Washington, DC,
  • Performed quality control inspections on parts and packaged parts for delivery or sale.
  • Analyzed orders to pull parts from yard and warehouse with power tools and equipment.
  • Placed vehicle inventory numbers on parts to properly identify items for counter associates.

This work experience quite honestly taught me to be humbler about working hard. Being a parts puller taught me that hard work behind the scenes is just as important and difficult as being the mechanic in the shop working hands on with the trucks. This experience had a great effect on my own personal discipline and work ethic because I always was moving and using my head which was draining at times. I felt just as needed as much as the next guy which allowed me to do my job with enthusiasm and efficiently. I quickly learned the way of the area around me and in no time I was able to do my job on my own without supervision.

07/2018 to 01/2019 Janitorial Staff Member Carestream | White City, OR,
  • Inspected facility and grounds and picked up trash or other debris impacting appearance or movement flows between spaces.
  • Reported vandalism or other damage to property to supervisor.
  • Collected, sorted and transported recyclable materials.
  • Maintained clean and comfortable environments in commercial buildings by vacuuming, cleaning windows and dusting.
  • Emptied waste paper and other trash from premises and moved to appropriate receptacles.

This being a smaller company allowed me to learn the true meaning of hard work. I was in charge of trash, recyclables, vacuuming and mopping along with other tedious work. All of these tasks were to be done and done with perfection on a time based schedule. Each day we would have up to 3 buildings to clean which meant there was absolutely no time to spare or slack off. This experience had given me an enhanced work ethic and life lessons which I still uphold to this day.

06/2016 to 08/2017 Apprentice Diesel Mechanic Wolverine Truck Group | City, STATE,

This was one of my favorite work experiences I've ever had. I was 16 years old and I knew I wanted to go into trades for my future career. This was an excellent experience for me learning the ways of constant hands on work. I did smaller jobs working on Semi-trucks such as prepping new incoming shipments from Western Star; and I also was included on bigger jobs such as fully rebuilding and replacing a DD-15 engine. I loved every second of having something new to do everyday and often stayed late for overtime, that of which I had no issue with. Having a very wide range of tasks and jobs each day made me fall in love with trades, from electrical work to simple task to get a truck out the door, I enjoyed it all. Along with on job experience, I also had to attend schooling provided by Wolverine Truck Group outside of work. I thoroughly enjoyed my schooling after work and am currently qualified to take my Heavy Duty and Medium Duty Engines tests through the state.
