Intermountain HealthcareHenderson, NV,
  • Worked there from August to Late October each year, as its a seasonal festival
  • Average workday was from 7am to 4pm, however I would typically stay an extra 2-3 hours to help traffic disperse when people start to leave.
  • The work more broadly was a group of 10-15 people, with a total of 20-30 split between two sides of a large field. The days were long, and there was very little time to rest as we would stand practically the whole shift moving up and down the fields parking the cars by flagging and waving them in a coordinated effort to fit the cars as efficiently and orderly as possible.

  • Made sure to give my staff proper breaks according to their work performance.
  • Assisted, and made decisions on the changing of signs to alter traffic flow
  • Always assisted new staff members, and tried to always make them feel apart of the team
  • I would still be critical when nessicery, whether this be towards Impolite guests ruining others experiences, or new staff members (or old) that would blatantly disobey orders, or not pay attention to work.
  • Worked with the on site police officers in directing traffic outside of the festival ground, and during certain bad altercations within the field (Car Break-ins, Spousal Abuse, Lost Cars, Heat Stroke Victims, etc...)
  • Move Barricades for Emergency Vehicles
  • I did a fair amount of side work for one of the Owners, who was in charge of the Parking Staff, Security, and Trash. This included helping in the workshop, mainly hard labor fixing buggies and broken signs or gates.
