I am writing to express my genuine interest in the opening for Administrative Assistant with your company. As reflected in my resume, my extensive experience in personal injury/no fault and client relations has allowed me the opportunity to be hands on in exhibiting my skills in different settings, providing an informative yet friendly environment for all seeking advice and/or direction. As a paralegal/receptionist we encounter different personalities which forces us to shift gears while remaining professional, confident and most of all helpful. I take pride in being self-directed, driven, resourceful, creative and strategic. Therefore I am certain that my proactive personality will be an asset to your company. While in my paralegal career, I have established great rapports with some of my most difficult clients by being flexible and have welcomed the challenge of cases thought to be troublesome by some of my peers. In handling these cases from intro to settlement and through consistent follow-ups and persistent negotiating, I have learned and mastered the art of what I call P2, "patience and pressure". Patience in allowing the allotted time for review and thorough process while applying just enough pressure to produce win/win results. The reception field is also a field I enjoy. It is simply a position where we introduce and interact, we become the faces and voices of the company. Introductions (both negative and positive) leave everlasting impressions so in saying that it is important to never allow a negative experience or call to alter our role as energetic and effective frontmen. It is a role I take very seriously and view each personality as a challenge in my problem solving skills in addition to an opportunity to exercise my people skills. Providing the same kind of services I would want to encounter when conducting business of any kind is my goal. I believe that every client/customer should feel as though they are our #1 and most important client/customer and in keeping a professional, client-focused and dependable atmosphere success is sure to follow. In regards to my salary requirements, I am currently requesting $35,000 per year.
