After two years of technical school based in automotive repair, at CSN of Las Vegas in the GM-ASEP program, I have been certified and immersed in internal combustion systems ranging from gas (2 and 4 stroke) to diesel and rotary. I have spent many months on different construction projects: from barn restoration, to completely new timber and stick frame construction. For 3 years I managed an organic vegetable farm, which forced many new and varied technical challenges including electric motor repairs (washing machines, cash-registers, ventilation, etc.), tractor repairs (hydraulic, diesel engine, manual and automatic transmissions, and electrical), as well as multiple small engines (chain saws, ride-on mowers, weed whackers). For 2 years I apprenticed under a small-engine mechanic who introduced me to all types and ages of chainsaws, trimmers, power brooms, etc. I am also ASE and I-CAR certified in engine performance, and body work respectively. These are in addition to the numerous extra-curricular trainings undergone via AC/Delco, VCERTT, TranStar, and Timken training. I have worked personally and professionally on various electric, gas, diesel, and propane appliances and machinery for the past 5 years continuously. I have skillfully operated multiple models and styles of excavators, tractors, chainsaws, loaders, saws and just about anything with a motor be it combustion or electronic. I learned carpentry skills while volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, after which I spent many years honing my craft as a framer, finisher, and restorer.
