Acquired my CDL-A during the winter of 2019, learning the necessary skills to become a professional truck driver and embarking on a new and exciting journey of self-confidence, attitude, and discovery. Truck driving is a serious skill that requires more than just a completion of training and skills testing. It requires a passion for the industry and a tremendous amount of self-discipline and hard work. What I have found the most rewarding is sharing my experiences and helping to educate the general public not only how valuable this industry is but the mental and monetary rewards that are waiting to be found. Simply put, I want to teach prospective new drivers - I want to promote safe operating practices, as well as contribute to the amount of new and talented truck drivers that enter this industry. It would be exciting to share my experience and knowledge gained in forming my own LLC For Hire Hauling and to coach/mentor interested individuals. I received a high-quality education during my time in WITC's Truck Driver Training program, the instructors were passionate and supportive and the women in my class always felt welcome. In all I feel I have an excellent understanding of the skills needed to teach and share; as well as being very motivated to learn, grow and encourage. I welcome any opportunities for my own continued education so that a well-rounded learning experience is what a student could look forward to receiving. I want my passion and abilities to help influence new drivers in any way possible and to help eliminate any worry or self-doubt they may encounter!
