Summary

I am applying for the Visitor Experience Associate position at the Mingei International Museum. I have experience working at Lux/Institute of Contemporary Art, The Contemporary Arts Forum in Santa Barbara and Bliss 101 in Encinitas. I thrive on the energy of a gallery, museum, design and arts driven environment and I have worked directly with gallery managers from assisting with all functions of daily activities from answering email and phone inquiries, database and image management, researching artists for future exhibitions, to growing the education and outreach programs, and reaching out to and hosting events for donors.

I am drawn to working in a motivating and enthusiastic environment, great at multitasking, working with superiors, creating budgets, copy writing and editing, knowledgeable with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and compiling research for future exhibitions. I have done social media marketing, content creation and promotions for galleries and many local brands growing a larger customer base and outreach.

I also have years of experience starting and running a small business from my own Surfboard brand Avocados for Lunch to a hydroponic vegetable nursery Sundial Farm. Dedicating my time to growing businesses, integrally working with and creating systems for high level teams while creating a viable and sustainable lifestyle in the areas that I am deeply passionate about.
