As of 3/30/15 MHM is currently at 87% complete. 2. Autopharm Upgrade (Pharmacy Medication Inventory System) a) Coordinated all hardware related needs for upgrade with Talyst. Ensured that MHS provided pc's would meet requirements of vendor, and requested appropriate components (network interfaces, serial to usb adapters, label printers, etc) to cut project costs considerably. b) Acted as a liaison between Server Services, Network Services, IT Application Support and the pharmacy staff to prevent miscommunications and potential delays. c) Configured and tested all workstations and label printers in a test lab and verified functionality with vendor to ensure smooth transition on date of Golive. Many potential firewall and software compatibility issues were found and resolved prior to go live. 3. Patient Room Wyse Deployment (70+ workstations - Complete)
  • Configured and deployed all Wyse thin client devices in patient rooms throughout the facility.
  • Supervised TRA during installation to ensure devices were mounted in accordance with Unit needs and proper aesthetics and creating minimal downtime for end users.
  • Provided training to Unit staff during shift change to ensure night staff coverage. 4. Mobile Cart Conversion (100+ Thin client devices - Complete; 100+ carts - In progress) a) Stage 1 - Swap of Igels to Wyse clients completed. (100+ carts). b) Coordinated swap out of NaWare Carts with Flo Carts. c) Scheduled and supervised TRA installation/retrofits. d) Working with heads of departments to determine the number and locations of carts needed, and reassigning carts as necessary. e) Coordinated efforts to have carts properly badged so their location can be monitored by Versus and assisted with building a monthly report to reduce "cart roaming" (indefinite borrowing of carts from other departments without permission). 5. Masimo Project (24 Patient Rooms in 2 Units - Complete) a) Coordinated move of Pulse Oximeter monitoring system from 3rd floor ICU to 4th floor Med Surge Unit. b) Determined number of data ports, port activations and power outlets needed based on specified needs. Coordinated with Biomed, Facilities, and Masimo vendor to ensure completion by deadline provided. c) Performance tested devices with Vendor onsite and assisted with user training. 6. Suite 408(General Surgery), Suite 412(Peds Neurology) and Suite 212(Peds Outpatient Rehab) a) Configured/Deployed 30+ workstations, 7 printers and 2 faxes based on user needs. b) Coordinated and supervised the locations and installation of all patient room pc mounts based on user requirements. c) Completed projects on time and tested all workstations 2 weeks prior to deadline. d) Provided user training. 7.
