Professional Summary
With sixteen years of nursing experience from trauma to pre/post operative patient care I am a strong leader with a strong clinical background. A 2014 Great 100 Nurses award recipient one can see that I value excellence in nursing and want to give 100% in my work. Being able to work with patient flow, maintain staff morale, and encourage growth and development within the Surgical Services Department is a challenge I am excited to meet head on. Our successes include seeing the growth of the Medical Day department from 200/250 patients per month to over 600 patients per month and still growing is a sign of the great care given by a team I am privileged to assist in leading. Managing high maintenance high performers is a skill I am currently improving and building. Maintaining reports and data collection to keep track of growth and development of the Surgical Services department to help maintain appropriate staffing is another challenge I have met head on.
