Assists the RN with the care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, repositioning, ambulating, and feeding. Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration), I & O (intake and output), daily weights, and other patient data as requested. Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens as requested. Documents requested information and promptly communicates observations, concerns and needs of the patient to the RN. Assists physicians and other health care team members with hospital systems as needed to access patient information, i.e., medical records, documentation systems. Supports communication required to facilitate patient care. Prepares patient rooms for admission/discharge and assists with the patient admission/discharge process. Ensures patient call light is in reach of patient at all times; answers call lights promptly. Keeps careful track and documentation of patient belongings. Completes various errands as directed, including pick-up and delivery of trays, charts, specimens, reports, etc. Maintains and orders stock for nursing area; cleans equipment and work areas. Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for the patients on the nursing units. Maintains a working knowledge of the functions and services offered by all diagnostic and treatment departments in order to facilitate the scheduling of tests and treatments. Provides appropriate documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service in meeting our customer’s requirements such as; KPI’s and SLA’s. Act as a liaison for Volt and represent Volt and the client in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner. Meet with client managers on a regular basis to monitor quality, assess upcoming needs, current service level, new or changing issues in the department, staffing opportunities, etc. Promote advantages and share benefits of the contract to client groups. Design creative solutions to meet customer challenges, increase mar-gins/business, and improve retention. Coordinate Quarterly Business re-views to promote Volt. Provide client with reports and information as required and in a timely manner.
Create a positive working environment for Volt contingent employees by creating relationships with employees and creating reward programs for employees. Conduct surveys to monitor client and employee satisfaction. Address, investigate and resolve employee relation’s issues in a confidential and objective manner. Ensure compliance with workplace laws, including EEO, wage and hour and workplace safety. Follow proper reporting of workplace injuries. Monitor and ensure compliance with Volt and client policies and procedures. Manage and conduct performance review process, if applicable to program. Provide counseling and coaching to client managers and employees. Maintain proper documentation of reasons for termination and share information with delivery team for re-deployment and unemployment processing. Document all personnel issues and maintain personnel files up-to-date. Conduct on boarding processes including orientations and training
