Islamic Center of Passaic County Volunteer, Summer 2011-Present - I am an active volunteer at my local mosque located in Paterson, NJ. I was a vice head of a committee targeting youth development titled Girls Juniors. Additionally, I am very active in the summer especially during the month of Ramadan to help maintain order during prayer and organizing events. I was an office manager at the weekend school for two years. I headed a go green initiative with a small group of dedicated volunteers. Every year, I am a part of team that organizes an entertainment event catering to 8 to 10,000 people. I am head of ticket sales and marketing as well as entertainment booking. This winter, I was on a fundraising team aiming to raise $3.5 million for the purchase of a new ICPC building. My position on this team was creating several events and fundraising dinners. I was also involved in public relations. I am also a photographer for many of the ICPC events.
MYCC Basketball Coach, January 2015-June 2015 - ICPC registered a basketball team under the MYCC organization. I coached a team of 10 high school students twice a week until our championship game at the end of the season.
Executive Committee of Jams and MYCC, February 2016-Present - This is a new volunteer position that I am beginning. These two organizations are basketball and flag football organizations for male athletes. We are now starting a female athlete chapter.
IAMY Convention, September 2013-March 2016 - I took part in a consultation committee that created a platform for guiding American Muslim Youth Centers into creating successful youth sub-committees. I was also a hospitality volunteer for one year at this convention, and a speaker's accommodations volunteer the following year. This year, I am a part of the marketing team.
Islamic Relief, February 2015-Present - Last year, I was on the programming team for the annual Walk for Water event in New Jersey. This event catered to more than 10,000 people. I headed a team for creating a family friendly program at this event. This year, I am vice head of the programming team.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development, November 2014-Present - I am an active volunteer for this non-profit organization. I have helped in several clothing drives and events.
NuDay Syria, March 2015-Present - This is a non-profit organization that I continue to volunteer for from ticket sales, ushering, fundraising, and babysitting at fundraising dinners.
CERT Volunteer -Bergen County, February 2014-Present - I am a volunteer for Bergen County's community emergency response team. Training was over the course of two full days and required first aid and CPR certification. I am now certified and trained to respond to various emergency calls including fire hazard, shootings, and natural disasters.
Tutoring, September 2013-Present - I have been tutoring a wide range of students since my junior year in high school covering all subjects.
Muslim Student Association, September 2014-Present - As an executive board member of the NJIT MSA, I am the program director. The MSA is one of the most active clubs on campus holding around 15 large scale events per semester. As program director, I make the program as well as decorations and set up. I am also the photographer at the events and help out with marketing, video productions, and speaker invitations and accommodations.
Red Cross NJIT Chapter, March 2016-Present - I, along with 3 other peers, are in the process of beginning a red cross cub at NJIT.
Boys and Girls Club of Newark, NJ, February 2016-Present - This is a new volunteer position I have recently started. Every Monday, I go out with several others to the boys and girls club for about 3 hours to tutor and care for kindergarteners through 4th graders.
Angela CARES non-profit, November 25, 2015 - On the day before thanksgiving, I went out with the MSA to help this non-profit organization package and distribute food to those in need.
NJIT Alternative Spring Break 2016 - This spring break, I registered to join my school to go volunteer with different projects ranging from habitat for humanity to distributing food and clothes and even beautification of beach shores and parks.

I am well-organized, have great time-management skills, and have mastered grace under pressure. Additionally, since I am the oldest daughter in my family, I tend to be very patient and responsible.
