Neuroscience
Throughout my first year of college, I worked in a neuroscience lab under Dr. Robert Mans.The goal of this project was to elaborate on the correlation between the circadian rhythm and Alzheimer: this involved looking at the relationship between lack of sleep and the production of a the amyloid beta protein beta in the brain. My role was mostly in doing behavioral observations, western blots, and  breeding.

Economics 

My second year I entered MONICA Lewis Economics Policy Competition. The Goal was to assess, analyze, and formulate a pertinent public policy proposal in an area of climate change.   It required an interdisciplinary group of three to develop a  research based, economic policy prescription to address climate change.
