Patrolled areas and allowed restricted area access for authorized personnel. Provided force protection of all navy and army assets located at Naval Support Activity Crane, IN and augment DOD police in base security operations. Assist with coordinating of monthly command urinalysis sweeps. As assistant squad leader, i conscientiously assisted in the supervision of 10 junior and senior sailors in my squad. Expertly coordinated and provided my whole unit through morning physical training during the NSF Crane 2010 Annual Training. By doing this, I directly contributed to elevated unit morale and the overall physical fitness of NSF Crane. Served a vital part of security operations for the "Ride to Recovery", a charity event at NSA Crane on 23MAY10 that benefited wounded veterans. Additionally, I assisted by accounting for the entry and exit of 389 bicycle riders from NSA Crane to ensure force protection security. Assisted with base operations on 21MAY11 during the "Ride to Recovery" event counting and keeping track of over 388 riders and volunteers as they came through and exited the gate/event. Volunteered and responded within 24 hours of notification to Naval Station Crane, in to provide navy wide security support exercise "Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield" that occurred on base 22MAR12-23MAR12. Stood on post during that exercise for 24 hours inspecting all incoming vehicles and checking all identification cards.
