  • As a Mass Communication Specialist, it was my job to tell the Navy’s story. From development of print publications and multimedia content to videography, digital graphics, web products, news, press releases, and feature stories, I produced content to document and inform the general public of the work aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
  • Captured numerous photographs and video that was utilized by outside media outlets such as Newsweek, CNN, Fox News, NPR, UPI, and Time.com.
  • Overall in charge of 20 employees as Production Leading Petty Officer, supervising all production and dissemination of social media products from USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
  • Coordinated production and filming of 10 feature stories with ESPN over a 5-day period to be used during Veteran’s day weekend in 2018, thus resulting in the Thompson-Ravits Award for Excellence in Navy Public Affairs 2018.
  • Coordinated and conducted tours of the USS Carl Vinson at the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise in Pearl Harbor, HI in 2018. During this event tours were provided for over 3,000 civilians aboard the USS Carl Vinson and personnel from over 25 countries attended the beginning and closing ceremonies of RIMPAC.
