  • Installer Tech Bonded Lightning Protection Systems - Rockville, MD - July 1XXX to January 1997 Responsibilities as an installation tech were mainly the layout of engineered lighting protection systems (LPS) and the installation of these systems.
  • Installation was performed in accordance with Specs set for the specific install via blueprints drafted by our companies lead engineer.Devices to hold down the continuous copper/ aluminum ground cable were first installed using a variety of fasteners or adhesives Next the cable was fastened to the devices via clamps/mounts then continued to a riser and out to a specifically placed grounding rod.
  • Extremely high work conditions were common as the actual point or rods were placed at the highest locations of the structure.
