Currently Deployed to DR-4652-NM, Presidentially Declared Disaster, as the Operations Division Supervisor/Task Force Lead (OPTFL).
Work within the environment out in the field as ensure program personnel to include individual Assistance (IA), Public Assistance (PA), Hazard-Mitigation (Haz-Mit), and Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams (DSAT). Coordinate with the Local/State/Tribal Emergency Manager. Direct initial movement of teams to the most damaged areas first in consultation and collaboration with the Local Emergency Manager, and the State Counterpart i.e., Commissioners, City Managers, State and Local officials.
Attend Command and General Staff Meeting, Volunteer Agency Liaisons, provide status updates of concerns/issues within the affected Counties. Work in consultation with Public Assistance Task force Leader to provide subject matter experts and answer questions. As Operations Division supervisor safe-guard against transmitting out dated information, or inaccurate information, [protect FOIA information related to public assistance program to local political entities. Coordinate with Security managers to ensure that security measures are in place at Disaster Relief Centers (DRC); Mobile Relief Centers (MDRC); Joint Field Office (JFO), coordinate with Regional Security Manager in all aspects of security and security related policies and procedures.
Plan and carry out full range of security administration and assignment, handle and coordinate with the Field Security Division Director any deviations from the established process, procedures and policies
Resolve problems that arise in accordance with FEMA Agency or local standard, ensure training, experience of established practices or security measures/controls are within Agency polices and procedures are followed
