I have worked as the Mailroom Manager at a printing shop for the past 2 years, prior to that I was the Kitchen Manager at Cenla Christian Academy.
Most of my current job requirements have time limits, due to the USPS. I am able to organize and delegate a team of workers to get the job completed on time and with no errors. In my previous job I worked with a host of volunteers and outside vendors. I maintained a good working relationship with the people necessary, to complete my job.
I am responsible for all mailings that come through Baystar. The company processes about $30,000.00 mailings a month. I process all EDDM paperwork, standard, first class and non-profit mailings.I am proficient with the Seacap mail machine, Konica copier, Lumina and DOS copiers. I am in charge of the distribution of all printed material throughout Brazoria County and have supervised several workers in this department. I schedule all outgoing mail drops and work in close relations with the USPS. I work side by side with the shipping/delivery dept and often ship material using UPS. I can work a pallet jack when necessary.
I was in charge of the kitchen/vendors for a campus of approx 250 students. The campus had a canteen dept. that I stocked and during football/basketball season I also managed the concession stand. This position required a great deal of planning, organizing, ordering, coordinating and overseeing a host of volunteers and employees. I was in charge of all the money that ran through the kitchen, canteen dept and concession stand. I worked in close proximity with the school accountant, keeping all records organized. I left this position prior to my family moving back to Texas.
I graduated from College with a 3.2 GPA with an associates of applied science with an emphasis in Business.
I attended the Pitney Bowes Mailing Seminar in September of 2013 in Houston Texas.
