09/1991 to 04/2012 Plant Manager The Kraft Heinz Company | Newberry, SC, Responsibilities My responsibilities began as a two color small format press operator. Products produced were, Letterhead, Envelopes and Pinfed labels on a custom built pack to pack press. Raised letter printing (Thermography) on Business cards and Envelopes. Equipment used: Ryobi, AB Dick and Itek. After a year+/- I was moved to the larger narrow web offset presses. Equipment run: Didde Glaser, Harris, ATF, Western Gear, Schreiber. Up to six colors. Roll /roll-sheet and fold. My experience also includes large format two color sheetfed operation. I have some four color process (CMYK) experience. I am also experienced in bindery: Challenge and polar cutters, single sheet continuous folding, collating, edge gluing, padding, numbering, hole punching (drilling) Shrink wrapping, Tinting, UV Coating and drying, IR Drying. Other non printing experience includes warehouse maintenance, Inventory control, Shipping and Receiving, forklift and clamp truck experience. In 2002 the company began manufacturing cut sheet labels. This was done through the design and implementation of a custom rotary die cutter, mounted on the web presses they were already running.Allowing for die cutting, printing and laser coating various material substrates in line. Printing on coated materials was achieved by using U.V. inks and dryers. Allowing for high speed offset label printing.
