I worked as a charge nurse for 2 years at Elmcroft working the floor. I worked with home health agencies coordinating care for residents, wound care, medication pass, and helped assist with ADL’s.
Since February of this year of have worked in management at Elmcroft. I have been the support nurse to the director of nursing and the hiring nurse for our department. I was in charge of level of care assessments, hiring employees, organizing charts, and helping the floor charge nurse when needed.
I was a charge nurse for 7 years. I did wound care, medication pass, interacted well with the doctors, help with ADL’s with the residents, catheter care, requested orders, input orders, helped feed, and organized charts.
