I served in the Military as a Military Police Officer and was honorably discharged in 2008 after 3 years active service and 5 years inactive reserve service. I believe that my initiative and drive from my military carrier enabled me to get a position at Rinnai as their warehouse lead in June 2004 without any formal interviews. I performed a lot of physical labor while leading others in day to day warehouse operations to include heavy lifting of items on floor loaded import containers and the processing of orders/ shipping. After 17 months as the warehouse lead, I applied for an office position as the Logistics Rep. I transferred to this position in Nov 2004 and over the course of the last 11 years with the company, I have been promoted within the position a few times and I continue to be the sole contact for day to day transportation and logistics at Rinnai today. I am able to constantly find lean ways of doing the same processes while increasing my workload over the years which has enabled Rinnai to save on any costs associated with hiring additional persons.
