Make sure the trucks were DOT compliant ready and were filled with a Class A CDL driver approved by insurance after doing a DOT level one inspection.
Hiring a driver included Drug and Alcohol testing, reviewing all driver qualification paperwork, present and issue all training necessary for the job. 
Oversaw all owner operator lease on trucks along with adding trucks to UCR/ 2290 to continue the process to apportion plate the trucks and make sure the trucks had up to date IFTA stickers and cab books.
Completed and followed up on all registration and traffic documents as well as made sure the trucks stayed within DOT regulations. In doing so I became very familiar with the FMCSA/DMV/DOT laws and regulations.
