Professional Experience
Lease Operator, 04/2014 to
Counting OilWorland, WY,

I am currently a contract Lease Operator with Occidental Permian, for the past year and eight months. I have been in charge of a route with 27 batteries, and 100+ wells, with production at around 7000+bbl oil per day, since hired. For a few months, I was also assigned to operate a compressor station, in addition to my current route. I operate electric pump jacks, hydraulic beams, compressor gas lifts, ESP's, SWD's and their equipment/pumps, water transfer pumps, tank circulating pumps, various battery vessels, and flowing wells. As lease operators with OXY, we are required to do most moderate repairs ourselves, such as replace packings, baird back pressure valves, pneumatic dumps, flow meters, and anything else that may go bad on our equipment, that is under 4". I have excellent experience in troubleshooting wells, equipment, and any other problems that may arise at our facilities. I.e. dumps leaking by, isolating and replacing valves, isolating leaks, avoiding spills. Along with performing all these tasks, I believe that safety is first in all and everyday tasks that we perform. I am a father of 3 wonderful children, and Safety is top priority in my life in my every day tasks. Stop Work Authority is something i believe everyone should exercise. Whether it is a minor detail or a major job, i always keep safety in mind. Proper usage of PPE, i believe is a must. I'm experienced in working around H2S and using SCBA equipment for high H2S areas we HAVE TO work in. Being a Lease Operator for several years, i have gained experience in being able to run SWD facilities, multiple batteries, and a large amount of wells.

Lease Operator, 04/2013 to 04/2014
Counting OilOklahoma City, OK,

In the production department, we are responsible for keeping gas/fluid production flowing as constant as possible. I have experience in various intermitter/plunger lift equipment such as: PCS1000, PCS 3000, IPS, Timex EZLIFT. As a Lease Operator, I am responsible for keeping multiple wells running to the best of their ability, and troubleshooting them and equipment, if they are not running as they should. Other parts of my responsibility include, replacing defective/broken equipment, inspecting all equipment for leaks and wear/tear. I have also gained abundant knowledge with various types of gas/fluid separators, in-line heaters, heater treaters, pump jacks, various types of plunger lifts and their specific purpose, and doing repairs on motor valves/lines. Trained on how to properly and safely treat wells with chemical, inspect plungers, do various types of repairs on equipment, and safely dealing with high gas pressure. I believe highly about safety first, that is why I always complete Job Safety Analysis forms before any job on a well, such as chemical treating or inspecting equipment. On a daily basis, I keep updated accurate track of each of my assigned wells on our Field Direct program, beat sheet, SPCC, and update greasebook files. Lastly we are responsible for keeping up with the fluid levels produced in each well, and dispose of accordingly, whether it is salt water for disposal, or petroleum that we work on and treat to prepare for sales.
