While in high school I took a vocational education class on electrical work. I did two courses within three years(first class freshman year and the next class junior year). First course was core curriculum and the following class was Electrical 1. I'm core certified and have a basic knowledge on electricity and wiring. Work Experience
07/2016 to 10/2016 Laborer Dyno Nobel Inc. | Pocatello, ID,
  • I was essentially a laborer the whole time I worked here, learning about the concrete business.
  • We did everything from pouring driveways and sidewalks to pouring footers and foundations for houses.
  • Majority of the work was labor intensive, moving wheelbarrows full of concrete multiple times from the cement truck to where we were pouring(if we couldn't get the truck right up to where we are pouring), or hauling hoses with a pump to pump the concrete to where we were pouring.
  • Spent a lot of time digging holes/footers in the ground for hours at a time.
  •
  •
  •
  •
  • I was laid off due to the lack of work the company was receiving.
05/2015 to 01/2016 Production Legal Sea Foods | Framingham, MA,
  • Worked in a warehouse for the production side of the company.
  • The primary goal of production was to get jobs out the door.
  • I mostly worked in the "hardware" section of the warehouse.
  • I pulled all the hardware for jobs; hinges and hinge, hooks, handles, any kind of lighting, baskets, clothing rods, etc.
  • Made sure all jobs going out had everything they needed to be considered a "completed job".
  • Signed for packages coming in for stock then checked all items according to the receiving report to make sure we got everything we ordered.
  • Ran a forklift and would bring in shipments of melamine (8"x 5" sheets of thermally-fused particleboard, anywhere from 4-20 sheets in a stack) and put them in racks in the warehouse, and would also move need melamine to the saw to be cut for jobs.
  • I left this job in February for personal reasons.
2015 to 06/2015 Laborer Dyno Nobel Inc. | Reno, NV,
  • Evolution is an oilfield service; they do water containment, pressure washing, roustabout work, rig containment, and truck drivers for the water trucks.
  • I first started off doing water containment which essentially is working with a water truck driver to sucks up water and other spills to keep the containment clean to help prevent accidents and hazards.
  • Trained in confined space.
  • Trained to operate forklifts, man-lifts, and skid-steers.
  • Worked on the pressure washing site to do rig washes, clean mats, and frac tanks, which is where the confined space training came in.
  • We would do the necessary paperwork to enter the tanks to clean them out and pressure wash them as clean as we could get them so trucks could haul them off to get moved to the new pad.
  • I've also done roustabout work which consists of doing whatever the company man tells you to do.
  • Roustabout workcan be anything from picking up trash to helping set flowline, rig up or rig down drilling sites, and help rig hands set up to drill on the next well.
  • Eventually was only doing pressure washing and roustabout.
07/2014 to 11/2014 Sales Associate Arrivia | Dallas, TX,
  • Ran a cash register, made sales, put out stock, organized stock, and setup product on shelves.
  • Helped customers determine what part they needed for their vehicle, learning new things from team members every day.
  • Installed batteries and wipers, the usual free service of Advance.
10/2013 to 03/2014 Valet Firstservice Residential | North Miami Beach, FL,
  • Majority of my valet duties were at the Hyatt Regency on Clearwater Beach, but sometimes I had to drive to Tampa or St Pete do to a private party.
  • Basic duties were to park cars for guests without damaging the vehicle, being friendly and courteous to guests, giving directions to resturants or stores on the beach, giving recommendations to guests for which resturants they should visit, and opening the front doors of the hotel for guests and greeting them.
04/2009 to 10/2013 Sales Associate Arrivia | Orlando, FL,
  • From 2009 to July 2013 I was only working part-time, which involved me to put out stock, make sales, run the register, talk to customers, and help close.
  • After July 2013 our GM got fired and I basically did everything he did, and helped run the store full time.
  • Open, close, talk to vendors, make purchase orders, put out stock, talk to customers, run the register, make deposits to the bank, buy surplus from customers, and determine which products to have in stock for customers.
