Hire date was aug 10 2010 for me at Duke energy Ohio/ky and during this apprenticeship I got exposure and experience in virtually every aspect of outside electrical utility work from transmission lattice towers and monopoles to underground distribution switchgear we got our hands in a little bit of everything but it was not easy being brought up to climb every pole and only allowed to use brace and bit to bore holes in on poles for mounting hardware I must say it did ensure everyone who was there wanted to be there and learned a lesson in work ethic.
