Im part of a family line that traces back to the year 920 (Habsburg). A member of my ancestral family was present for every significant historical event in the last one thousand years. Noted figures like Maria Theresa (4th Gr Grandmother, Marie Antoinette, Marie Louise / Napoleon Bonaparte).

My second Great Grandfather studied Aeronautical Engineering at Harvard University. He qualified Amelia Earnhardt on Speed And Distance Flying. Did fuel calculations for NC-4, which was Charles Lindberg's trans-atlantic flight. Established F.F.A. and partnered with Senator MacCerron to establish F.A.A. in 1938. Developed testing protocols for his concept of 'Pontoons' for water landing planes. Spearheaded the design and development of 'arresting gear', so that a plane could land on a Carrier. Advised members of the United States Military, becoming an integral part of the war strategy.

In my family there are five published author's. My Grandmother had three Doctorates and wrote for a noted Medical Journal. One (great uncle) graduated Stanford University, became Professor of World History and was awarded Pulitzer Prize (1973) for his literary works on the Civil War.

Circumstances that were a great influence on my character, inculcating a significant amount of self-efficacy. I developed a work ethic and proprietary sense very early, learning from the examples of my elder family members (all inclined to play the role of teacher) having much to do with my persistence in being helpful and all the questions resulting from having an inquisitive nature. I still have those things in my bag of tools and have taken good care.
