  • Respond to inter-office inquiries pertaining to documentation receipt status, exception processing and general document processing policies and procedures.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all software tools used by the Document Processing department, including DMS, OIT Workflow, Salesforce and Applicant Inquiry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain thorough knowledge of transcript authentication practices to ensure the integrity of AMCAS application data being distributed to medical schools. This includes the ability to identify transcripts of fictional, fraudulent or unaccredited institutions, counterfeit transcripts of legitimate institutions, and altered transcripts as issued by legitimate institutions.
  • Establish and maintain thorough knowledge of all software tools used by the Document Processing department, including DMS, OIT Workflow and Applicant Inquiry.
  • Process applications for Fee Assistance, including document receipt, indexing and application processing.
  • Work closely with Document Processing Manager to conduct temporary staff training.
  • Track the receipt of documentation received in support of applications processed by MSAS.
  • Analyze and review documentation received in support of applications processed by MSAS.
  • Update application databases with information pertaining to the receipt of documentation, communications initiated, and processing exceptions utilizing the appropriate software tools.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks on three percent of all indexed records.
  • Uphold strict document security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.
  • Respond to inter-office inquiries pertaining to documentation receipt status, exception processing and general document processing policies and procedures.
  • Work with Document Processing Manager to identify and resolve processing exceptions, and potential software bugs or anomalies.
  • Perform data entry tasks associated with other MSAS projects as required.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding documentation status using standardized emails.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
