Manage implementation, acting in the role of project manager and functional consultant. Activities include: leading project calls, understanding and analyzing client business requirements, providing guidance on optimal configuration options to meet client needs, managing third-party and Concur integrations (e.g. – credit cards, direct reimbursement to employees, direct payments to vendors), training clients and preparing for deployment of service to employees – all within defined time frame of completion
Deliver training/knowledge to clients around imports and extracts in/out of Concur’s services. Collaborate with assigned Concur Technical Consultant to ensure set-up of FTP/PGP for clients and deliver training on imports/extracts
Successfully manage multiple/simultaneous implementations by continually motivating clients, ensuring project timelines are met, and client and/or partner issues are addressed
Escalate issues to designated team contacts and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early
Quickly ramp-up on new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation of these features for clients
Collaborate with other members of the implementation team to develop and deliver web-based training/presentations covering a range of service topics
Contribute to special projects as needed to ensure successful service deployments, improved internal processes/methodologies and on-going retention/satisfaction of client base
Provide contributions to Concur’s project methodology and document library which includes development of new documents/processes as well as updates to existing documents/processes
Represent the Department on cross-functional teams
Mentor new Consultants that join the department
Ability to lead client training, design and knowledge transfer sessions both remote and on-site
Communicate "best practice" recommendations based on prior experiences, and effectively troubleshoot and solve client issues caused by unique client circumstances or software/hardware issues
Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a reporting solution design according to client needs and scope of Concur products/services
Provide business acumen for external clients and strive to understand the business problem we are solving in order to best configure the system and exceed client expectations
Liaison with client team members and Concur internal resources to ensure understanding and clear communications
Support client's testing cycles - research complex customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments
Assume primary leadership for the implementation of assigned target accounts
Build and maintain deep understanding of implementation stages
Provide account management resource for field sales strategic service and solution opportunity management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers representatives and field management to enable success
Work independently across functions, including Marketing, Services, Sales Support, Engineers, Legal and Finance to address business needs
Coordinate site evaluations, product placement, training and maintenance of equipment
Respond to incoming inquires from Distribution partners
Participate and contribute in market research to determine the continued application and future opportunity of existing products in current markets
Research to better understand product related competitive issues
Developed estimates regarding market share and relative competitive positioning
Provide support to the field sales effort to include: product/sales training, technical support for product function, product/competitive positioning, account strategy and product clinical evaluations
Recommended pricing in assigned market and review product manager price proposals for new products
Serve on cross-business unit task force and cross-fictional project teams to resolve specific business problems
Phone Sales of medical capital equipment and accessories
Follow up and qualify website, show, magazine and inbound referral leads
