As a Rule of Law Support Advisor for the Legal Advisory Group to the Afghan Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, National High Council for Rule of Law, Attorney General Office & the Supreme Court, I served as the primary liaison and Rule of Law support advisor in all the group’s diplomatic engagements with Afghan officials at the ministerial level and above. I develop and keep critical diplomatic relationships with high-ranking officials throughout the Afghan national government to enable senior NATO leaders, with me as their emissary, to engage effectively with key Afghan leaders in tackling corruption.
Served as an Anti-Corruption Advisor/liaison with the international and Afghan counterparts, managed and helped in setting up the newly established, Anti-Corruption Justice Center – known as the ACJC in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The Anti-Corruption Justice Center (ACJC) was established on June 30, 2016 by Presidential Decree and is comprised of elements of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), Attorney General’s Office and the Supreme Court and other judicial entities of Government Islamic Republic of Afghanistan- GIRoA.
Engaged and established working relationship with the US Embassy Kabul, INL & DoJ senior officials, UNAMA, and other diplomatic missions in identifying Money Laundering and High Profile Corruption cases. Attended stockholders meetings and coordinated in tracking money laundering cases with Special Inspector General for Reconstruction of Afghanistan- SIGAR’s Special Agents in Charge and representatives from Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Afghanistan (FinTRACA).
Set up meetings on regular basis and met with Afghanistan’s Attorney General, the Supreme Court Judges, the 2nd Vice President, the ACJC Chief Prosecutor and Chief Judge, to address and discuss counter corruption, counternarcotic and money laundering related issues.

within Ministerial Internal Control Program (MICP to develop programs, part of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Ministry of Defense (MoD), is implemented by the MoI and MoD Inspector Generals with the aim to prevent and eliminate corruption.
Additionally, I conducted legal researches, media analysis and provided advice to our office and NATO staff regarding Afghan laws, policies, and regulations, and Afghan governmental structure and practices.
In 2009-2012 while I was with VOA News Afghanistan Service – South & Central Asia Desk, I helped with the INL Project -Counter Narcotics –CN Programming to Afghan Service & VOA’s Deewa Pashto stations broadcasted programs in the Pashto areas along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, including Helmand province, the program provided critical counternarcotic vital news and information and coverage of counter narcotics, law enforcement, and related news and successes to the local population to help them with Alternative Programs.
Helped with the FBI polygraph team vetting of 130 Anti-Corruption Justice Center newly hired staff (prosecutors & investigators). Liaised and provided coordination between ACJC and MCTF – Major Crime Task Force in setting up several money laundering trainings and workshops for Afghan local prosecutors.
Through my office CSTC-A EF3 Rule of Law, I helped with INL project: Major Crimes and Anti-Corruption Criminal Justice Task Force (CJTF) and Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) vetted units of Afghan investigators and prosecutors tracking corruption, narcotics, and kidnapping cases by providing them with training, advisory and operational support, and equipment.
On my role as the Rule of Law Advisor, I coordinated, helped and advised Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior Judge Advocate General in respect to INL project in capacity building programs- Justice Sector Support Program - JSSP elements set out in the National Justice Program adopted by the international community and Afghan government. Coordinated and supported with the INL initiatives at Parwan Detention Facility (Bagram Airbase) with Case Management System training in partnership with Afghan ministry officials.
Coordinated Case Management System ( CMS) training through JSSP for Afghan attorneys and investigators at Anti-Corruption Justice Center – ACJC and Major Crime Task Force – MCTF to track criminal cases from the stages of arrest to incarceration.
As a rule of law advisor within EF3 office, provided support in reforming the Afghan criminal justice system, worked directly with Afghan investigators, prosecutors, judges, and defense attorneys within the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Attorney General’s Office (AGO), Ministry of Interior (MOI) and the Supreme Court.
Provide legal researches on Afghan laws, rules/ regulations (Law of Armed Conflict, CPC Criminal Procedure Code, Leahy Law, Afghanistan Constitutions, Remediation Policy, Gross Violation of Human Rights - GVHR and etc.
