Work with parents and teachers to implement consistent behavior therapy techniques at home and school.
Guide clients in understanding illnesses and treatment plans.
Evaluate patients to determine potential need to transfer to specialized inpatient mental health facilities.
Diagnose mental health, emotional and substance abuse disorders.
Reference and use various therapy techniques, including psychodynamic, family systems, cognitive behavioral and lifespan integration psychotherapy.
